The Science Fair (Veletrh vědy) is the largest science popularisation event in the Czech Republic, organized annually by the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2015. It attracts nearly 50,000 visitors each year – from schoolchildren and families to science enthusiasts and professionals.
This year’s edition took place from June 5th to 7th, 2025, at the PVA Expo in Prague – Letňany, and our P4F fellows actively participated in the event. Rémi Bérard, Girum Abebe Beyene, Patrik Čechvala, Himanshu Kumar, Indranil Mal and Sitender Kashyap presented their ongoing research, as well as the broader scientific themes of the FZU departments with which they are currently affiliated.
For our fellows, the fair provided a unique opportunity to engage with the public, share insights into cutting-edge physics, and gain hands-on experience in science communication across audiences of all ages and levels of expertise.
